News & media Cordiant is proud to join the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative

15 November 2024

Today in Baku, world leaders and stakeholders are gathering for the “Finance, Investment, and Trade” session at COP29 to discuss the critical role of finance in driving the ambitious climate actions we need. A key focus will be the important collaboration needed between public and private sectors to deliver climate finance at the scale required to see a real-world reduction of emissions.

It is widely recognised that the private sector plays a crucial role in achieving sustainability outcomes, and that investors who align their portfolios with sustainability goals, such as increasing renewable energy consumption, can have a powerful impact in both decarbonising and driving value for their assets.

Recognising the importance of supporting global decarbonisation efforts as well as the financial sector’s role in achieving these objectives, Cordiant is proud to announce that it has joined the Net Zero Asset Managers (NZAM) initiative. By joining NZAM, Cordiant is joining other leading financial institutions committed to supporting the Paris Agreement, reinforcing our commitment to global climate goals. We are also thrilled to partner with Ceres as our Network Partner, who will help us develop ambitious, achievable targets that will enable us to support our clients in reaching both their financial and climate goals.

We are eager to collaborate with like-minded organisations dedicated to investing in a sustainable future for all.
