History
Founded in 1999, Cordiant had historically been a diversified infrastructure debt fund manager. With the firm’s change in ownership in 2015, Cordiant’s strategic direction and leadership has evolved substantially. Cordiant has become sector focused private debt and equity investor, building on the expertise of its current partners who remain hands-on in their guidance of the firm.
Since 2018, the firm has expended its presence beyond its Montreal headquarters, opening offices in London, Luxembourg and Sao Paulo to align with investment mandates across Europe, North America and the OECD, as well as in select global markets. The firm has grown significantly, with our team doubling in size since 2021.
Cordiant invests through both traditional GP/LP fund structures, as well as listed investment companies. In 2021, the firm launched Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited, the first digital infrastructure-focused investment trust to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
